Black Dog Braunton is a small local business offering reliable, professional home & garden improvement services at a competitive price.

Black Dog was founded by myself - Leigh Hudson and I named it after my dog Winston who represents everything Black Dog aims to be: reliable, friendly and consistent.
​
Black Dog began with me helping out a few neighbours with smaller jobs such as lawn mowing, painting & decorating and garden clearance. It soon became clear to me that many struggled to find a company that were willing to do these services at a reasonable rate. With the growing holiday home market in this area it is difficult to get a handy man in for small maintenance or garden services on changeover days. Hence why, Black Dog was born.

It also has become clear that many of my clients were elderly and they or their families felt uneasy of letting an unknown tradesmen into their house. I recognised this from personal experience and I am now Dementia Aware and a Dementia Friend.
